Topology & Extensions
The SIX topology is that of a Cisco Catalyst 6509 and Cisco Nexus 5020
which constitute the "core", along with a number of extension switches
(extensions) connected to the core.
The core switches are managed by the SIX
ops team while the extensions are managed by their respective
operators, sometimes with assistance from the SIX ops team.
It is recommended that you connect directly to the core, if able.

Extensions may charge participants to connect. Contact them for
